  The Ballet Barre is an integral tool for both beginning and advanced dancers. Barres provide stability and balance, help to build strength, and learn correct body placement.
  
  Our standard Ballet Barres range from 4′ – 16′ in length. If your space requires different size barres, check out our Alvas Custom Ballet Barres.
  
  Your new barre will need some support. For wall mount ballet barre brackets, freestanding ballet barre frames and floor mount ballet barre frames, check out our Barre Mounting Options.

  A Floating Subfloor will absorb the shock of jumping and a Marley-Type Dance Floor Covering (accepted worldwide as the best surface layer for dance) allows dancers to slide, with a degree of “controlled slip”. DANCE MIRRORS
- Glassless Mirrors
  
  Alvas Glassless Mirrors are lightweight and can be mounted to the wall or made portable with Rolling Frames. They provide a superior, brighter, sharper reflection than plate glass, with no ghost images. They are made of the same super reflective, metalized plastic film material used in the Hubble Space Telescope. This same reflective material was later put into the dance world, providing an excellent image quality.
  
  Our glassless mirrors are UL Fire Retardant rated for safety, don’t bounce sound around like glass does and won’t shatter, making them much safer than glass.
