When it comes to building a studio from scratch on a tight timeline, it’s definitely possible—but it requires a lot of upfront coordination. For example, all the FloatFloor panels need to be produced and ready to load onto the truck. Marlay® or Matlay® cover pieces should be cut and ready to roll out. And most importantly, there must be clear communication with the studio/property owner.
Timing is also key—ideally, the install should happen when there’s minimal traffic or other disruptions. Having parking close to the job site helps a lot. If the owner can provide a few local hands to help unload the vehicle initially, that frees up our expert crew to focus on the tasks only they can do.
In many cases, ballet barres can be installed simultaneously with the flooring, which saves time as well. Having a well-thought-out design plan in advance—rather than figuring things out on the fly—is another major advantage.
